mmake 2 sts out of 1 by knitting into the front and the back of the same stitch.

Pattern: st st 2 rows white, 4 rows blue

FRONT AND BACK

Cast on 38 sts with blue
Row 1-4: k
Go on with the white thread and knit the pattern
Row 5-54: st st

COLLAR
Blue knit 1 row
K12, turn

Knit 1 ros

Cast off
Knit the back the same.

SLEEVES (make two)
Cast on 28 sts with blue
Row 1-4: k
Row 5-42: pattern. Make 1 stitch at begin and end of the rows 9, 21 and 33 (34 sts)
Cast off

TO MAKE UP
Join one shoulder seam and the other only at the sleeve side with a few stitches. Sew the sleeves and join the seams from sleeves and sides.
Pin the sweater (for preference with insectpins) on polystyrene foam, make a bit wet and let dry.
Get the pins out and put it on a doll with flexible arms.

TO MAKE UP

Sew head and neck on WS. Turn. Sew upper part of the body and lower part of the body on WS, beginning half way the foreleg to halfway the other foreleg. There is a remaining peace of the upper part of the body. Sew the rump. Turn the body, stuff the body and sew the last stitches.
Darn in end of thread from the tail. Use the other end to sew the tail at the body. Cut the black sewing threads in the good model and use a little bit glue.
Sew the ears in place and embroider the eyes. Sew manes on the head and neck and cut in model.
